Corporate Governance
FCC is accountable to the Government of Canada. We're governed by the Farm Credit Canada Act and the Financial Administration Act. Like other Crowns, we're subject to laws such as the Federal Accountability Act, Privacy Act, Access to Information Act, Canadian Labour Code, Employment Equity Act and Official Languages Act.
FCC reports to Canadians and Parliament through the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food through our Annual Report, corporate plan summary and quarterly and financial reports.
The Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food has established a set of priorities to guide FCC in continuing to strengthen the agriculture industry.
FCC is transparent to our customers and stakeholders by providing access to information, our privacy policies and in our codes of conduct.
