FCC Vision Terms of Use
Overview
Farm Credit Canada (FCC) Vision is a research panel designed to gather feedback from members of the agriculture and food sectors through surveys, focus groups, and interviews. FCC Vision may engage third-party providers to assist with member invitations and data collection.
Acceptance of Terms of Use
The Terms of Use govern your access, use and participation in surveys, focus groups and interviews as part of FCC Vision. These terms are in addition to and supplement the FCC Terms of Use generally applicable to all FCC online websites and platforms (including mobile applications). As such, it is important that you read and understand these FCC Vision Terms of Use as well as the FCC Terms of Use, and all related documentation prior to participating with FCC Vision.
Privacy Notice Statement
FCC collects your personal information under the authority of the FCC Act and in accordance with the Privacy Act. By submitting this form, you hereby consent to the collection and use of personal information submitted to FCC for statistical purposes and data analysis and may be used internally and externally. Information collected for FCC Vision can be found on FCC's Info Source under PIB PSU 938 Outreach Activities.
The Privacy Act provides individuals with a right to access, request corrections, and protection of their personal information under the control of FCC. Individuals have a right to file a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding FCC’s handling of personal information. Please review our Privacy policy for more information.
Enrollment
To join, members must provide consent and basic personal information (name, email, province, and certain demographic details). This information is collected for statistical purposes and used for data analysis. Members may update their information at any time. Personal information is maintained in accordance with Canada’s federal Privacy Act.
Modification of the Terms of Use
To maintain the integrity of the platform and improve user experience, FCC reserves the right to update these terms of use from time to time. All such modifications take effect immediately upon posting and apply to all access to and continued use of the Website. You agree to periodically review the terms of use to be aware of any such modifications, and your continued use shall be your acceptance of these.
Member Benefits
Members may be invited to participate in various surveys throughout their time on the panel. Participation earns instantaneous reward vouchers (hereinafter “Reward Voucher or Voucher”) at the end of each survey, which can be redeemed for digital gift cards through a third-party vendor, subject to the terms hereof.
Vision Reward Program
Upon completion of each eligible survey, members will be awarded a Reward Voucher. Vouchers are redeemable for digital gift cards via a third-party digital gift card vendor. By redeeming Reward Vouchers as gift cards, Members agree to the terms of service and privacy policy set out by that vendor. Reward Vouchers do not accumulate and must be redeemed through the third-party Voucher link sent at the completion of each Vision survey.
Member Account & Profile
Members must not create multiple accounts, use false information, or access another member’s account. Credentials must be kept confidential. FCC Vision is not liable for unauthorized use of your account. Members are solely responsible for the use of their username and password and are required to immediately report any suspicious activity on their account to FCC Vision (fccvision@fcc.ca)
Inactivity and Account Closure
If a member does not participate in any research studies (including surveys, focus groups, or interviews) or does not log into their Vision Panel account for a period exceeding twelve (12) consecutive months, their account will be considered inactive and will be closed.
Personal information of inactive members will be retained for a period of three (3) years. Panelists may contact FCC Vision Panel at any time in the three-year retention period to become an active panelist again.
Participation in Research Studies
Participation is voluntary. Declining to participate does not affect membership status. Research study results will be maintained on the third-party survey platform for a 12-month period.
FCC Vision may use research results internally or externally, with personal identifiers removed. Publicly shared results are reported in aggregate.
