Dr. Stephanie Smith is the Chief Veterinary Officer with the Ministry of Agriculture. Stephanie works with all aspects of animal health , animal welfare, disease surveillance, prevention and response. Prior to joining the Ministry, Stephanie worked in both mixed animal and poultry veterinary practices, bringing with her broad-based veterinary skills. She and her husband manage a grain and cattle operation near Arelee, Saskatchewan.
