FCC Aboriginal Student Empowerment Fund

Open to Aboriginal students attending one of four Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions, the FCC Aboriginal Student Empowerment Fund can provide you with up to $1,000 for basic needs any time during the semester.  

What it’s for

Basic needs like a bus pass, child care, clothing, rent, groceries, school supplies, utilities, damage deposit or a laptop.

Who’s eligible

Full-time students from self-declared Aboriginal ancestry who meet their post-secondary institution’s minimum requirements. Eligibility is based on need, not academic performance.

How to apply

FCC Aboriginal Student Empowerment Fund was developed in partnership with Aboriginal support centres from all four institutions.

Each institution has its own application process, eligibility criteria and participating programs and will accept applications and distribute funding.
