
FCC Drive Away Hunger is gearing up for 2010
Did you know that 37 per cent of the almost 800,000 people who use a Canadian food bank each month are children? That's nearly 300,000 kids right here at home who regularly have to go hungry.
Thanks to generous Canadians like you, FCC Drive Away Hunger collected more than 1.6 million pounds of food for food banks across the country in 2009.
Now we’re gearing up for FCC Drive Away Hunger 2010. From September 20 to October 15, you'll be able to make donations of food and cash at your nearest FCC office.
