Eligibility guidelines
For your project to be considered for funding, your organization must be:
- a registered charity, or
- non-profit organization that is registered with Saskatchewan Justice (Corporations Branch Corporate Registry)
and your project must:
- enhance the quality of life for people in Regina
- be located in the city of Regina
- recognize FCC's contribution
Your project must also be completed by December 31, 2013.
Capital investment and capital improvement projects are eligible for up to $25,000 in funding. All other eligible projects are eligible for up to $10,000.
The FCC Regina Spirit Fund will not support organizations or projects that:
- take place outside the city of Regina
- have received funding from the FCC Regina Spirit Fund in the past two years
- contribute primarily to operating budgets or debt reduction campaigns
- are taking place in support of individual endeavours
- only provide benefits to members of a particular religion, political party or social organization whose primary focus is advocating a particular religious, social, moral, political or economic point of view
- only benefit private schools
- are likely to adversely impact the environment
Additional information
- FCC employees and their immediate family members cannot complete applications for the FCC Regina Spirit Fund
- only online applications will be evaluated
- the completion of an environmental assessment may be required as part of the evaluation process
- in order to give all charitable organizations an equal opportunity to apply for funding, FCC will not be hosting individual meetings with organizations
