How To Request Funding
Community Investment supports non-profit organizations and registered charities requesting support for programs and activities that provide education about agriculture, promote agricultural safety or support hunger related issues.
Submissions for support should include:
- contact information
- your organization's charitable registration or non-profit number
- a description of your organization and the activity or event planned
- plans for measurement and evaluation of your project
- information on how many people will benefit from your project, and in what way
- suggestions on how you will recognize FCC for supporting this the project
FCC does not support:
- projects or organizations that are located outside of Canada or benefit residents outside of Canada
- programs that contribute primarily to operating budgets or debt reduction campaigns
- projects for private foundations or third parties raising funds for a charity (Lions Club, Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus)
- projects that support individual endeavors
- projects for organizations whose primary focus is advocating a particular religion, social, moral, political or economical point of view
- private schools
- projects that are likely to adversely impact the environment
Timelines
Submit your request at least eight weeks before funds are required. We will respond to your requests within three weeks.
